Gospel Net International was established when God spoke to Evangelist Addison Adamu while in bible school in the United States of America to start a Christian organization for charity and international evangelism. God showed him a vision of a man fishing with a net and He spoke to him about bumper harvest of souls with the Gospel as a spiritual net to fish lost souls as the end of the age draws closer and closer. Jesus also told him about the plight and physical needs of former Muslims, widows, orphans, abused teenage girls, children and local missionaries in Africa and other third world countries who are mostly neglected by the body of Christ. He was told to feed, clothe, shelter and preach the Gospel of love, salvation and healing to them.
God gave him the name and the logo for the ministry and its mission statement, hence the birth of “Gospel Net International.” The logo has different colors with a cross diving the circle into four parts. Each part has a spiritual meaning which is preaching the Gospel, winning the world, feeding the poor and setting the captives.
The Founder is a convert from Islam as a result of serial visions and dreams from Jesus Christ Himself when he was in his native country of Ghana. He went through severe persecution at the age of sixteen (16) from family and the Muslim community at that tender age. He fled for fear of death and w as hiding in a friend’s house. Born and raised in a very poor and strict Muslim home, he was taught and trained not to read the bible or attend church because Christianity is a white man’s religion, once born a Muslim you are always a Muslim, they told him. He was told Jesus is just one of the prophets and He is not and cannot be the son of God because God has no wife so he cannot have a son either. But things changed when a friend in high school (soccer team mate) told him about Jesus as the Savior.
He was invited to church to see healing miracles but Addison was reluctant for fear of persecution. But his curiosity to see divine healings for the first time in his life compelled him to go to his friend’s church. He went with his friend and that very day he saw many incredible healing miracles in the church, blind eyes were opened, cripples walking, the dumb spoke, the deaf heard. Lydia, a young lady who was dead at the age of 23 for 24 hours, came back to life that same day in the church after prayer by the healing evangelist. These healing miracles led to his radical conversion from Islam to Christianity regardless of torture or persecution that awaited him. He had supernatural visitations of Jesus and His angels right after his conversion. Addison Adamu has been taken to heaven on two occasions to visit Jesus by two angels in a vision.
He was taken on a tour to visit different parts of heaven. Jesus took him from nation to nation in dreams and visions every night preaching His healing and Salvation Gospel around the world. He saw himself standing with Jesus but at the same time seeing himself preaching to millions of people in an opened space with fire coming out from his fingers and touching the people as he prayed and they all got healed. Incredible instant divine healing miracles took place as the fire touches the people. He saw blind eyes opened, cripples walking, lepers healed and so many uncountable noticeable signs and wonders.
Jesus said to him, “This is what I will do in your life. I will take you through a new path, and I will introduce you to the world soon, you will then take my healing power and Salvation Gospel to all the nations around the world.” God confirms His calling upon his life with healing miracles as Evangelist Addison preaches the Gospel around the world, even on television. All glory to Jesus our healer.
